Any Stories of Corruption at a Charity?
Yes, a person donated a very costly Lladro collection to Goodwill. It NEVER hit the salesfloor to the public. Management and employees took it all. If you don't believe it give something of value, bring a camera, ask questions and look at the sales floor the next day. Document even on the receipt. Don't trust charities.
A friend of mine donated a costly leather jacket. I had a brother that worked in the Salvation Army and happened to be there that day and he said an office co-worker took it. He saw it with his own two eyes. YOu can set up things like this and catch them and think twice before you DONATE.
These organizations do a lot of good and there are always bad apples in any workplace. I would contact the two organizations in question and report these incidents. Also contact your local media - they may be interested in doing a story about it.
